how it works?

Every day, in each household, from the moment a hot water tap is opened until the water reaches the desired temperature, a significant amount of water is allowed to run down the drain. Thank to AquaBank Saver, any drop of water will be wasted.
When the AquaBank Saver is activated, it repumps the water, which is still cold. In this way, the AquaBank Saver creates a circuit that, using only the hot and cold water pipes, reintroduces the lukewarm water, which would have been spilled, back into the boiler or heater.

Does AquaBank require any special requirements for installation?

No, it uses your existing water heating system and a single device placed under the sink serves all bathroom taps.

Can I install AquaBank myself or do I need an installer?

AquaBank is easy to install, and you can do it yourself by following the simple instructions and template included in the product box.

It is most convenient to install an AquaBank under the bathroom sink where hot water is used the most and which is furthest from the boiler, as this is where it takes the longest for hot water to arrive and thus where most water is wasted.

What dimensions should the space for installing AquaBank have?

The device measures 21.8cm x 13cm x 10.6cm. Specific space requirements are detailed for optimal installation.

How long is the cable of the AquaBank device?

The appliance cable is 2 meters long.

What if my outlet is further away and the cable doesn't reach?

For safety reasons, as it is a humid area like the bathroom, it is recommended to use an extension cord with a ground connection.

Is it possible to install AquaBank at the boiler's outlet to serve the whole house?

The current device is designed to be placed in the bathroom, under the sink, to maximize water and energy savings. Installing it at the boiler’s outlet wouldn’t prevent the pipes, which are still cold, from cooling the water as it passes through them.

Does my boiler or heater need to meet any special requirements?

The type of heater or boiler does not influence, nor do they need to meet any specific requirements, but it is important that they start correctly with the flows indicated in the heater’s instruction manual.

Can I install AquaBank if I have a centralized community hot water sanitation (ACS) installation?

The current device is not designed to serve centralized community ACS installations, but for installations in homes with a heater, thermal bath or boiler.

Do I need a device for each bathroom?

Ideally, install an AquaBank appliance in the bathrooms with the most hot water usage, especially in multi-story single-family homes or if the bathrooms are far apart from each other.

How much water can I save with AquaBank?

Final savings depend on several factors such as daily hot water usage in the home, number of people living together, type of housing, and the location’s water temperature. On average, it saves about 28 liters of water per person per day, equating to 10,000 liters per person per year.

How does AquaBank work in homes with individual solar collectors?

In homes with a solar collector for heating water, AquaBank is advantageous for saving water and thermal energy. The AquaBank pump is used only to overcome the load losses (friction) inside the pipes on the way back to the heat source.
